Schnitzi’s Builds Outdoor Dining Area Near Restaurant

The famous schnitzel restaurant “Schnitzi’s” is building an outdoor dining area so customers can eat peacefully within the store perimeter while complying with gov’t dining regulations.
Indoor dining is still illegal in NYC while Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo continue delaying the reopening, although it is currently legal in most other parts of the states with capacity limitations.
The platform is being built on 54th Street between 12th Avenue and New Utrecht.
Masbia, a charity food network located just across the street, said it will partner with Schnitzi in using the outdoor dining area so it can start serving Shabbos meals again, after taking a hiatus since mid-March when the coronavirus hit the city.
