Satmar Rebbe Strongly Condemns Boro Park Protests

Yesterday, The Grand Rabbi of Satmar addressed the Boro Park community. In his speech, the Rebbe’s passion sprung forth like a geyser as he strongly chastised the unruly protests that have taken place on the streets of Boro Park as a result of the Covid-19 restrictions.

“We are in galus! The wild protesting is having the opposite effect and we are paying a high price.  G-d is punishing us for this despicable behavior.”

The Rebbe minced no words as he begged his people not to join any of the protests no matter the circumstances.

“None of you should be seen at these protests. Praise unto the person who doesn’t follow in the ways of the evil.”

The chassidim sat in shocked silence as they drank in the passionate words of their Rebbe.

The Rebbe also stressed that the Torah learning must continue at all costs and can be accomplished without any rioting.
