Reopening of NYC Indoor Dining May Be Delayed

As NYC recovers from the deadly Coronavirus, indoor dining was scheduled to restart on July 8th, but news reports appear to dampen that day, and it will likely be pushed off to a further date.

ABC NY reported that the Governor’s Office along with NYC Mayor are discussing pushing off the reopening of indoor dining. Cuomo said it to be ”problematic in the past,” and that he will be speaking to New York City business owners and elected officials on Monday prior to making a final decision.

NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio agrees and says he is on the same page. “Health and safety must lead every decision. We cannot go back to where we were,” the mayor reportedly said.
