Reb Mayer Hakohen Gross Z"L

    We are saddened to inform the community of the petira of Reb Mayer Gross, a”h, a Munkatcher Chassid, who was 95 years old.

     Mr. Gross, a”h, who was born in Munkatch, Ukraine, in 1926, and learned in the yeshiva of the Munkatcher Rebbe, Rav Chaim Elazar Spira, z”tl, who known for his work “Minchas Elazar.”  Mr. Gross was known as a talmid chachim, and he worked as a businessman in the field of transportation.

     The son of Reb Yechiel Gross, a”h, and Mrs. Ekla Glikel Gross, a”h. Mr. Gross, a”h, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Judith Gross, née Frankel.

     Mr. Gross’s levaya took place on Sunday at 11am at Shomrei Hadas, which is located at 3803 14th Ave, and his kevura will be at the Munkatcher Beis Hachaim at Floral Park Cemetery in Johnson City.
