Rabbi Nechemia Alter’s Uplifting Visit to Boro Park Ger Kehilla

Rabbi Nechemia Alter, the son of the Gerrer Rebbe, made an inspiring visit to America. He began his trip by attending the Kvias Mezuza at the newly established Talmud Torah Imrei Emes in Boro Park.

On Shabbos, Rabbi Nechemia Alter led the davening at the newly opened Birchas Eliyahu shtiebel on 18th Avenue. The morning davening was at the Yeshiva K’tana and was followed by a lavish Kiddush. Motzei Shabbos brought a gathering of the Ger Kehilla at Ateres Golda, where the Kehilla was inspired by the uplifting divrei Torah.

On Sunday night, a special dinner took place to raise funds for Tzedakah, supporting the wedding gemach.

The highlight of the visit came on Monday night, when hundreds of yungeleit, each a dedicated ben Torah, gathered for a Gemara farher. Their impressive display of knowledge was a testament to their commitment to learning. The event concluded with vibrant dancing, marking the end of a truly uplifting and memorable visit.
