PURE MIRACLES: Boro Park Visitors Share with BoroPark24 Their Tale of the Tree

The viral video of an enormous dead tree falling down a second after a group of people passed it is nothing short of heart stopping--a clear sign of Hashem orchestrating events to the second.

BoroPark24 spoke exclusively with one of the people who experiences this miracle. He remains shaken, and deeply grateful to the Ribbono shel Olam for this clear and open miracle. 

"We were in town for a Simcha, and we were on our way back to Flatbush via 59th Street," he explained. "I remember looking at the odd tree... old, dead, and filled with cracks. It looked funky, I remember." 

A moment after they passed the tree came crashing down. 

"A split-second later, we heard a large crackle," he relates. As the video shows, they ran to get out of the trees' way. 

A kindhearted neighbor witnessed the incident, and invited the group into his home for a l'chaim. "We were afraid that no one would believe us how close this came to tragedy, R"l, and this man assured us that he would give us the video after Shabbos--which he would. 

Asked if he plans to make a Kiddush next week, he smiled and said, "I will have the Shabbos Sheva Brachos in our family, but I will definitely celebrate with some chulent and a l’chaim to thank Hashem."

He is still consulting with a rav on whether to bench hagomel, but the family wedding this week will surely be celebrated with extra joy.
