President Trump Says Voters Should Find out Winner on Election Day, Says His Numbers Look Great

By Yehudit Garmaise

Standing right outside a noisy Air Force One, which had landed in North Carolina, perhaps to oversee voting, President Donald Trump said that he thinks Americans should find out the results of elections on Election Night, “in this modern day age of computers.”

“I think it is a terrible thing when states are allowed to tabulate ballots for a long period of time after the election is over,” President Trump said. “Because it can only lead to one thing, and that is very bad, what that thing is,” probably referring to fraud.

“I don’t think it is fair that we don’t have to wait a long period of time after the election. If people wanted to get their ballots in, they should have gotten them in long before that, a long time. They don’t have to put their ballots in the same day. They should have put their ballots in a month ago.”

In describing the way several states allow mail-in ballots to be counted when they come in after election day because they are postmarked by Election Day, President Trump said he found the situation to be “ridiculous.”

“You are going to have one or two of these states, depending on how it is ends up, where they are [still] tabulating ballots,” the president said. “The world is waiting to find out…I think a lot of fraud and misuse can take place. I think it is a terrible decision by the Supreme Court, terrible decision [to allow the counting of ballots that come in after Election Day.”

Trump want to disallow the law that ballots can be counted even when they come in after the date of election because he seemed to be saying that all the extra time counting gives more opportunities for corrupted ballot counts.

To rectify the chaotic ballot counting we are experiencing this week, the president said “as soon as the election is over, that night, we are going in with our lawyers.”

But while decrying the extending ballot counting of this week, at the same time, President sounded optimistic.

“We are doing great in Nevada, we are doing great in Arizona, we are doing great all over,” the President said.”

When a reporter asked about the president what he thought about Democratic Challenger Joe Biden going to Ohio tomorrow, the president didn’t sound worried.

“I don’t think he knows too much what he is doing,” President Trump said. “I think he has proved that over and over again. It looks like Ohio is in our camp. I won it by eight in 2016, and my people tell me we are going to be higher this year. So he [Biden] can do that. He can do that.”
