Pilot Escapes Burning Airplane After Landing on Route 42

A pilot narrowly escaped after landing 

 A small Cessna aircraft on Route 42 in Monticello on Friday afternoon.

Monticello Fire Department responded to the scene at around 12:45pm where they encountered a burning aircraft on Route 42 near Dingle Daisy Road.

The pilot escaped the aircraft by himself, and no other injuries were reported.
