Person Struck by Train Near Ditmas Avenue Station Pronounced Deceased

The victim struck by a train was just announced deceased on the scene.

A person was struck by a train this afternoon near the Ditmas Avenue station, causing major disruptions to train service around the area. 

F train service is severely disrupted in both directions while emergency teams respond to the scene. There is currently no northbound F train service from Coney Island-Stillwell Av to Church Avenue and travelers are asked to seek alternative travel routes.
