Fatal Shooting on 9th Ave
A person was shot in Boro Park on Wenesday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly after 5:00pm, at 9th Avenue and 42nd Street. The victim, a male in his 30`s, was shot in the neck, and was rushed to Maimonides hospital by a private vehicle, where he later died from his injuries.
A firearm was recovered at the scene of the shooting. Police officers have cordoned off 48th Street, near Maimonides, where stopped three suspects for questioning.

This is the first shooting in Boro Parks 66th precinct this year.
Minutes after the shooting, a person was found stabbed in an alley, at 928 41st Street, just around the shooting scene. Its unknown at this time if it related to the shooting. The stabbing victim` injuries were described at not life-threatening, and he was transported to Maimonides hospital.
Chevra Kadisha was not needed.
