Perp Steals a Delivery Bike

A perpetrator steals a delivery bike from a local grocery store on 16th Ave in broad daylight. 

The owner noticed the robber waltzing off with his bike and began going after him. 

The perp then punched the owner near his face to ward him off causing minor injuries to the grocery’s owner.

Hatzolah treated the victim for his wounds and Shomrim held the perp down until the NYPD arrived and arrested him on Dahill and 44th St.

Update 11:00 P.M.

31-year-old Daniel Evans, from the Bronx, was named as the suspect. He was charged with third-degree robbery, petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
