UPDATE: Perp Cuts Phone and Wi-Fi Wires in 11th Avenue Neighborhood

Following an intensive search spanning several hours, the perpetrator responsible for severing the wifi and telephone connections of numerous residences was successfully apprehended and detained by the NYPD.

At around 6am this morning residents from 50th to 60th Street along 11th Avenue suddenly lost their phone and Wi-Fi service. 

After checking surveillance cameras, it was revealed that a perp in the mood for trouble had cut internet and phone wires along those streets. It is unclear how soon service will be restored and what his motive was by doing this.

The NYPD and Shomrim are investigating the incident.
