By Y.M. Lowy
Preparations for the highly anticipated Satmar Rebbe’s Grandchild’s wedding tonight are in full swing, and the NYPD has begun taking action to ensure the event runs smoothly.
The NYPD has set up a towing operation to clear these streets. The closures are part of the ongoing efforts to accommodate the large crowds.
The Kabbalas Panim is set to take place in the Beis Medrash on 52nd Street, followed by the Chuppah outdoors on 14th Avenue at the corner of 52nd Street. The seudah and dancing is set to take place at the spectacular ballroom on 37th Street (in the building of Talmud Torah Belz).
Vehicles parked on 52nd Street between 13th and 14th Avenue and on 37th Street between 12th and 13th Avenue are being relocated.
