NYPD Shoot Armed Suspect in High-Speed Pursuit on the Belt Parkway

The entire Belt Parkway has been shut down after the NYPD just shot a reckless perpetrator, who had been travelling at high speeds, which quickly turned into a dramatic high speed chase.

The police officers, who were attempting to stop the driver, finally pushed the driver off the road, which caused him to stop his car, exit his vehicle, and fire a gun at his pursuers, who returned fire, and shot the perp multiple times.

The NYPD requested the help of EMS, who brought the suspect in critical condition to NYU Langone Hospital on 2nd Avenue.
