NYPD Searching for Suspect Who Brandished Firearm Following Verbal Assault

The NYPD released a video showing a suspect in Tuesday night’s incident brandishing a firearm and firing one shot following a verbal assault.

The incident occurred around 10:45pm on 8th Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets, following a verbal dispute the unknown male proceeded to display a black firearm, threatened the victim with it and then discharged one round in the vicinity of the victim as he struck him in the right side of the face with it. 

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. He is being described as a light-skinned adult male, approximately 30 years of age, 5' 5" tall, 120 lbs and was last seen wearing a black jacket.
