NYC Parking Meter Rates Increase Today

Starting with Manhattan today, parking meter rates throughout New York City will cost more.
The new hourly parking rate in Midtown and Lower Manhattan went up a dollar to $5.50 for the first hour and up $1.50 to $9 for the second hour.
Brooklyn rates go up as of Thursday, November 9. Standard hourly meter rates will increase to $1.25.
The rates in Queens will increase as of Friday, October 27. Bronx rates will rise on Wednesday, November 22, and Staten Island will increase on Wednesday, November 29.
