NWS Report Warns of Weather-Induced Fires in NYC, NJ, CT

The NWS issued a weather statement Tuesday for parts of New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut warning of weather-induced fires.

“The gusty winds, combined with low Dew Points, and relative humidity values lowering to near 25 to 30 percent, will aid fire spread should ignition occur.”

As well, Westcoast wildfire smoke will return to NYC skies about 12,000 feet above our heads late Tuesday and Wednesday.
