NWS Issues Heat Advisory for NYC

: The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory which is in effect for NYC and Brooklyn today from 12:00 till 6:00. The NWS is expecting the heat index values to reach a high of 96°.

Readers are reminded to take caution by staying indoors in cool spaces and to hydrate in order not to become sick from the heat.
