Mayor de Blasio Announced No Large Events in NYC Through September

All large events in New York City planned through the end of September have been cancelled according to the Mayor's Office.
These large event cancellations exclude the open streets and open restaurants program as well as any event that takes up one block or less.
These revocations and denial of permits come in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic which has led city leaders to enforce social distancing.
All parades will be canceled but all religious events, protests, and press conferences will be allowed.
