No Central Shabbos Nachamu Celebration This Year Due to Skulen Rebbe’s Health

Traditionally, the Shabbos Nachamu event, which commemorates the release of the Skulen Rebbe zy”u and the current Skulen Rebbe shlita from Romania, is held on Motze Shabbos Nachamu in a large ballroom to accommodate thousands of participants.

For many years, the grand Motze Shabbos Nachamu event was held in the Catskills. In the Rebbe’s z"l later years, it took place in Boro Park, and in recent years, it was hosted in Kiryas Yoel during the summer, where the Skulen Rebbe would spend his vacation. This central event typically sees all the Skulen Rebbes in attendance, led by the Skulen Rebbe, who is currently in need of a Refuah Shleimah.

However, due to the critical health situation of the Skulen Rebbe, this year's main event will be decentralized. Instead of gathering in one location as in previous years, each Skulen Rebbe will lead a separate celebration in their own locations.

Unfortunately, there will be no central event in Boro Park this year
