New York State Begins Allowing Hospital Visitors
New York hospitals will now be allowed to accept all visitors, at their discretion, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Tuesday.
Most visitors had been banned by executive order since March, as the coronavirus pandemic devastated the state.
A pilot visitation program was instituted in 21 hospitals, mostly in New York City.
