New York Election Results Will Not be Available for a Month

New York election results may not be available for up to one month due to the widespread increase in absentee voting. Absentee ballots take much longer to be returned and processed as they merely must be postmarked by the date of the election but may not arrive until days later.
Governor Cuomo prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic signed an
executive order allowing all voters to vote absentee due to the increased risk
posed by voting in person.
All voters who requested an absentee ballot by the
prescribed date in mid-June were required to send in their ballots by today.
The absentee ballots take much longer to process.
This primary election has a few choices for Boro Parkers to
make including whether to re-elect Congressman Jerry Nadler or to elect Lindsay
Boylan or Jonathan Herzong into that seat.
