New Work Zones in Boro Park Mean Stiffer Penalties for Speeding

As BoroPark24 has reported, the project to rehabilitate the bridges over the LIRR In the Boro Park neighborhood has come to the 18th Avenue and 53rd Street portion of the railroad following about a year in which the work has proceeded in other sections. 

Along with removing many parking spaces in the work area, the DOT hung signs indicating that this is a work zone where a driver’s license can be suspended after two work zone speeding tickets. 

Drivers in the area are urged to take extra care when passing through this zone.
