New Takana Chasuna Halls Open in Boro Park

New Takana Chasuna Halls Open in Boro Park

Following the historic asifa that was held a few months ago regarding a unified standard for Chasuna takanos, two new halls are opening up in Boro Park for chasunas that will allow for a befitting simcha while making them more modest.

The total cost for each chasuna will be $6,900 - a cost of $3,450 per side.

The initial two halls that will be participating in the program at the special price this coming winter תשפ״א chasuna season are Anshei Sefard at the cornering 45th Street and 14th Avenue as well as Hod V’Hadar located at 16th Avenue and 61st Street. Additionally, many more halls will be participating in the takana program albeit not at this exact rate.

Included in the cost is the seuda for 75 couples as well as music, a badchen, flowers, and more.

People making chasunas in these smaller halls are making a bold statement - that they are going to a hall smaller in size that a regular chasuna hall and that they are making their simcha only for immediate family and friends.

A special number has been set up for booking at these halls: 929 - CHASUNA (929-242-7862). Tov L’Kol, Atarah, Koiach HaYuchid, and Yachdav Yranenu have come together to organize this effort.
