New Recipe: Kani Bites
You might have heard about kani poppers, you might have heard about frank n blanks. When you mix the two of them together you get magical kani bites which will be perfect for dinner tonight!
5x5 puff pastry sheets
Kani sticks
Spicy mayonnaise
Sweet sauce
Sesame seeds
One egg (whisked)
1: Lay a 5x5 sheet of puff pastry dough on a flat surface. Cut off one inch of dough and discard
2: Smear the rest of the dough with a generous amount of spicy mayonnaise
3: Place a Kani stick in the center of the dough and wrap the puff pastry sheet around it pinching the seams shut
4: Egg wash the dough and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. Cut each dough into three pieces and place seam down in a pan.
5: Bake on 375 for twenty minutes. Drizzle with spicy mayonnaise and sweet sauce
Note: Kani can be bought in some fish stores and can be found in the freezer aisle of most groceries. Defrost before using.
