New Recipe: CHICKEN ARAYES Pita Clusters

It can be done with ground beef, lamb, or veal as well. Yield: 16 pita clusters.
Ingredients:

2lbs ground chicken, dark part, or your desired ground mix

1 egg
·
1 yolk
·
¼ cup Shauly’s Bbq sauce
·
1 tsp salt
·
1 tsp Shauly’s maple sugar seasoning
·
8 pitas, cut in half
·
olive oil, to brush
onion powder
Preheat oven to 400˚F.
In a large bowl combine and mix together
the ground chicken, egg, yolk, bbq sauce,
salt, and maple sugar spice. Place into
the fridge for about 30 minute to stiffen the mixture.
Fill each pita pocket with some of the
mixture.
Layer them onto a parchment lined baking
pan. Brush both pita sides with olive oil.
Sprinkle each top part with onion powder.
Bake uncovered for 15 minutes.
Transfer the Arayes clusters to a new
parchment lined pan and bake uncovered for another 10 minutes or so.
