New Brooklyn South NYPD Commanding Officer Tours Shomrim Headquarters During Boro Park Visit

During his visit to the Boro Park community this week, the newly appointed Brooklyn South NYPD Commanding Officer and Brooklyn South NYPD Community Affairs Lieutenant Duran McLean, accompanied by Deputy Chief Ritchie Taylor, made a special stop at the Shomrim headquarters.

Invited for a sit-down meeting, they had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the vital role Shomrim plays in community safety and witness up close the organization’s state-of-the-art surveillance system.

Shomrim coordinators showcased their extensive security network, which has been instrumental in preventing crime and ensuring the well-being of residents. They expressed appreciation for the volunteers’ dedication and the close collaboration between Shomrim and the NYPD in keeping Boro Park safe.
