New Bridge and Tunnel Tolls to Go into Effect on April 11

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (MTA) new toll rates for all bridge and tunnel crossings will go into effect at 12am on April 11.

   In 20 days, the E-ZPass at the Robert F. Kennedy, Bronx-Whitestone, Throgs Neck, and the Verrazano Bridges and the Queens Midtown and Hugh L. Carey Tunnels will cost $6.55, the Mid-Tier will cost $8.36, and the Tolls by Mail will cost $10.17.

   At the Henry Hudson Bridge, the E-ZPass will cost $3, the Mid-Tier will cost $4.62, and the Tolls by Mail will cost $7.50.
