Multiple New Left Turn Safety Bumps Installed in Boro Park

In an effort to improve pedestrian and driver safety, three new safety bumps have just been installed in Boro Park.

These additions are strategically placed at the busy intersections of 15th Avenue and 48th Street in front of the Bobover Shul, at 12th Avenue and 54th Street, just one block off the Shomer Shabbos Shul, and at 17th Avenue and 46th Street.

Boropark24 spoke with workers on this project, who shared that more than a dozen more such safety bumps are scheduled to be installed today and in the coming days throughout Boro Park. 

Below is the list of locations that will see new safety bumps in the coming days:

• 15th Avenue and 53rd Street
• 11th Avenue and 59th Street
• 11th Avenue and 58th Street
• 12th Avenue and 54th Street
• 12th Avenue and 49th Street
• 12th Avenue and 41st Street
• 12th Avenue and 40th Street
• 17th Avenue and 46th Street
• 17th Avenue and 47th Street
• 17th Avenue and 45th Street
• 16th Avenue and 58th Street
• 16th Avenue and 55th Street
• 16th Avenue and 53rd Street
