Much Anticipated Hishtadlus Career Event Taking Place Next Week for the Boro Park Community

Career assistance is a clear pathway to assisting the nearly 40% of the Boro Park households below poverty level according to the latest U.S. Census Bureau information. 

In recognition of the overwhelming need to assist those seeking to advance or join the workforce, the Boro Park JCC in partnership with the JCC of Greater Coney Island in arranging for next week’s much anticipated Hishtadlus Career Event for men. Interested attendees can RSVP HERE.

“Thousands of talented individuals in our community just need a boost to help them acquire the right job,” Avi Greenstein, BPJCC CEO, shares with BoroPark24. “This is why the BPJCC is determined to focus on growing its job-enhancing initiative to help Boro Parkers where they can benefit from assistance the most.”

The Hishtadlus Career Event will take place this Monday, June 24 at eight p.m. at Anshei Sfard, 4502 14th Avenue. Participants can pre-register HERE.

The event’s multifaceted program focused on boosting careers within the Boro Park community includes Binyomin Halpern, noted speaker and author, who will offer advice on how to ace an interview and acquire a great job, and Yonason Schwartz, entrepreneur and business owner, who will speak about the skills and techniques that can help you grow and achieve your career aspirations.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes, as the event will also include professional resume writing assistance, one-on-one career counseling, and free headshots. BPJCC specialists will also be on hand to advise attendees on general social services that can benefit their families.
