Bus Drivers Threaten to Stop Mid-Route if Passengers don’t Wear Masks
A leader of the bus driver union said Thursday that if people on buses don't wear masks, the drivers will stop mid-route.
This is to stop the spread of COVID-19.
“If someone’s on the bus without a mask, we’re telling the operators to either get help, call supervision, or — if they can do it safely — stop the bus until they comply,” said JP Patafio, the vice president of buses at Transport Workers Union Local 100.
