Most Popular (Jewish) Baby Names Of 2024

By Idy Perl
Every year thousands of parents decide what name they’re going to give their newborn babies, and more often than not their thoughts mirror those of many other parents.
The New York City Department of Health released the 10 most popular boys and girls names of 2024, and not surprisingly, a couple of them are Jewish names.
For boys, Noah, David, Jacob, and Joseph were among the top 10 most popular names. For girls, Leah ranked as the 7th most popular name. Esther, which had been in the top 10 last year, was bumped off this year.
Nearly 100,000 babies were born in NYC alone, with the most being born in Manhattan, and Brooklyn coming in second with 22,297 births.
