Mosholu Cheder Students Raise $1,200 for Boro Park Chaveirim Through Heartfelt Letters

At Mosholu Cheder, a writing lesson taught them more than just the art of writing.
As part of a special project initiated by the school's principal, R' Chaim Perlowitz, children learned to compose and send letters with a special twist as part of their project. Each child wrote a heartfelt note to family or friends, sharing a personal story about the work of Boro Park Chaveirim and asking for support.
With stamps affixed and envelopes sealed, their messages were sent out, and the response was incredible. Together, the children raised nearly $1,200 for Chaveirim of Boro Park.
When they handed over the check to R' Ahron Yitzchok Khon, the founder of Chaveirim, the excitement in the room said it all. They had learned two valuable lessons: supporting Chaveirim through their tzedakah and the process of mailing a letter.
