Mosdos and Kehilas of Borough Park Endorse Simcha Felder for City Council

The leaders of prominent Chassidic sects and school administrators in Boro Park have issued a joint endorsement of Simcha Felder for City Council.
Felder, who has previously served as a Councilman, a deputy City Comptroller, and, for the last 12 years, as a state senator, is running in the special election for the open seat this coming Tuesday, March 25.
In a letter that was displayed at all shuls this Shabbos, the community leaders praise Felder for his unwavering dedication and service to the community.
"Simcha has a golden reputation for being a reliable voice as a state senator,” they write. “His door and heart are always open to stand by our side at every given opportunity. He has used his power in the corridors of government to benefit our community on all fronts.”
"Throughout his tenure as a Councilman and State Senator, Felder has earned a reputation as a staunch advocate for religious freedoms, fought to protect the rights of the frum community, and promoted issues of great importance for the residents of his district." an administrator told BoroPark24.
"Felder has also played a pivotal role in securing critical resources for Borough Park, including funding for parks and playgrounds, which have enhanced the quality of life for families in the area. He also worked to secure funding for enhanced security measures at yeshivas and local institutions."
The leaders note the critical nature of this special election and emphasize the importance of voter turnout.
"In these crucial times, when so much is at stake, we need the right, experienced leader to fill this open seat,” the endorsement letter reads.
They conclude: "Simcha Felder is the only candidate who has the intellectual capacity and the right approach to fill this role and effectively address and solve the issues we face as a community. He is experienced, trustworthy, and reliable."
The special election is on Tuesday. The polls will be open from early morning until 9 p.m.
