Missing Six-Year-Old Yosef Shapiro Found in Good Condition Near Canarsie Park

Following a search of over 6 hours for a six-year-old boy that took volunteers deep into the woods of Canarsie Park, Yosef Shapiro was found in a healthy condition, Baruch HaShem.

Hundreds of volunteers spent hours searching for Yosef after he went missing around 4:00pm on Wednesday afternoon. He was at the park along with his day camp on a day trip.

Yosef was found near the beach which is right next to Canarsie Park. Video of the incident showed a Hatzolah volunteer holding little Yosef in his arm, proudly proclaiming that the missing boy has been found.
