Mayor Says Infection Rate for Those in Twenties and Thirties is Rising

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio at his daily press conference today said that the COVID-19 infection rate among those in their twenties and thirties is rising.
Owing to the fact that they are younger and generally feel as though they are at lower risk, these groups have been quicker to return to socializing in settings where the virus spreads.
The infection rate is rising quicker among those 20-29 and the Mayor says that the City will be utilizing “messages from influencers” to fight this rise.
