Mayor Adams Tests Positive For COVID-19

Earlier today Mayor Adams tested positive for COVID-19, ahead of a busy week with many scheduled meetings. 

The Mayor has canceled two in-person events planned for later today, including a roundtable meeting with Jewish media outlets ahead of the High Holidays.

Although the briefing was initially intended to be open to the Jewish media, a meeting will now take place between the Mayor, NYPD Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence and Counterterrorism Rebecca Weiner, and members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force. They will discuss recent developments concerning the thwarted terrorist attack targeting the Jewish community.
