Man in Custody After Climbing to the Top of Brooklyn Bridge

New York - The NYPD's emergency service units was on the scene Friday afternoon of a person who threatening to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge.

The man, who is emotionally  disturbed, was taken into custody after extensive negotiations with him.

The man climbed the cables to reach the top of the bridge and placed an American flag on the mast. He then threatened to jump off, triggering a police response that ended with him agreeing to come off.
