Malls in NY Can Reopen With Proper Air Filteration
On Wednesday, Cuomo confirmed regions moving into Phase Four on Friday July 10th, will be allowed to open malls, provided they take special air filtration precautions.
Malls will be required to upgrade their HVAC systems with
filtration that meets a certain minimum standard. They will also be required to
increase outdoor air flowing into the facilities, reduce air circulation and
regularly check and replace filters.
Cuomo says, “The more we learn about COVID, the clearer it is that safe ventilation is crucial,”
