Maimonides Sets Up Tent Outside 10th Avenue Entrance
Maimonides Medical Center located at Ft Hamilton Parkway and 49th Street has set up a temporary tent outside its 10th Avenue entrance.
The temporary tent was built with a permit from the local community board as a patient examination area so that patients can be tested prior to entering the hospital for treatment.
The hospital may also use the tent if it reaches capacity due to the global pandemic of coronavirus, as cases across New York City continue to soar with over 10,000 confirmed cases as of Sunday morning.
