Maimonides Dismantles Tent Set Up to Handle Covid Surge

Boro Park - The sprawling tent set up by Maimonides Medical Center to handle a surge in coronavirus patients was dismantled today.
The temporary tent, spread across 10th Avenue, between 48th and 49th streets, was meant to be a patient examination area so that patients can be tested for the virus prior to entering the hospital for treatment.
At its peak in the beginning of the April, Maimonides, like any other hospital across NYC was swamped with patients, and following regulations set forth by New York State, instituted a no-visitor policy.
