Letter from American Rehab Owner Surfaces in Aftermath of Tragic Fiksler Saga

As world Jewry continues to be shaken by the tragic conclusion to the Alta Fiksler saga, a letter has surfaced from a Phoenix Center for rehabilitation, a facility specializing in pediatric rehabilitation (and maintains a hospice center as well), who offered to care for Alta last June.
Abraham Kraus, CEO of Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation, located in New Jersey, wrote to the English authorities back in June that his facility was “ready, willing, and able” to care of Alta at their center. "We are equipped to deal with Alta, since the majority of our patients are currently on a ventilator," it said.
Alas, tragically and incomprehensibly, authorities in England are given the right to supersede the parents’ wishes—despite many offers and petitions from Yidden around the world.
Alta was brought to kevurah in Eretz Yisroel earlier this week
