Legendary Boro Parker R’ Yankel Fefferkorn at Boro Park Center

For anyone above a certain age, the name is most familiar. Reb Yankel was a fixture of our youth. 

With his trusty tape recorder, he would go around from one bris to another, recording the proceedings. This led the really young children to believe that he was Eliyahu Hanovi who comes to every bris. 

Now, Yankel is elderly and weak and he resides in Boro Park Center, room 331. He would be delighted with any visitors, and it would be a great Mitzvah for people to come visit him.
