Ki Gadol B’kirbeich! Yahadus America Looks Forward to the Visit of Zekan Roshei Hayeshiva, Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch Shlit”a, will be leading first time Shabbos with Slabodka Alumni

With growing excitement and anticipation, Yahadus America from across the spectrum eagerly looks forward to the forthcoming visit of the venerated Slabodka Rosh HaYeshiva, Hagaon Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlit”a.
As one of the foremost Ziknei Manhigei Hador, the Rosh Hayeshiva carries so many of the burdens of Klal Yisroel on his shoulders. Yet his primary mission remains the sustenance and growth of his own Yeshiva – the great mivtzar haTorah of Slabodka with its hundreds of talmidim.
In addition to leading the Yeshiva, giving shiurim and personally nurturing the talmidim, the Rosh HaYeshiva is charged with the mission of sustaining the enormous financial budget, which entails considerable solicitation from generous machzikei haTorah.
Yet, when the recent budget cuts hit the Olam Hatorah in Eretz Yisroel this past summer, Rav Moshe Hillel immediately took on the grueling mission of massive, global fundraising to rescue the Yeshivos, putting aside the crushing burden of his own obligations to Slabodka.
Now it’s our turn, yidden in America, to ensure that the Rosh Yeshiva’s mission is crowned with success and to minimize the burden weighing down on his shoulders.
The Rosh Hayeshiva is scheduled to arrive in the US on Wednesday November 20 remaining here for a period of 2 weeks.
The various communities where Rav Moshe Hillel visits during his stay are blessed by his uplifting presence. The Rosh Hayeshiva serves as a wellspring of Da’as Torah, along with illuminating practical hadracha in all areas of life.
A highlight of the Rosh Hayeshiva’s itinerary will be a beautifully planned Shabbos Beheichalo weekend at the grand Malon Resort in Florham Park, New Jersey, where Slabodka talmidim and the families will be able to bask in the Rosh Hayeshiva’s presence and personally interact with Harav Moshe Hillel shlit”a and other Ramim of the Yeshiva.
The Shabbos will culminate with a gala Melave Malka Dinner, allowing donors to partner with the Rosh Hayeshiva in sustaining the legendary mivtzar haTorah of Slabodka.
