Kavunas Halev to Dedicate Sefer Torah in Honor of Rebbe Shlit”a.

The Kavunas Halev Beis Medrash has stood on 43rd Street for many decades. It once served as the Krasna Beis Medrash—led by the Krasna Rov, zt”l—and continued by his son-in-law, Rav Shmuel Zev Lichter, shlit”a, Admor of Kavunas Halev.
The kehillah has dedicated a Sefer Torah in honor of their beloved leader, and will inaugurate it this Sunday, with Kesivas Osiyos at the home of Hanogid Reb Yitzchok Honig, at 2:30pm, at 1623 43rd Street, departing from there amid joy and fanfare at 4:30pm.
The Seudah in honor of this momentous event—taking place at The Palace— will also serve as a major drive to raise the funds to finally complete a sweeping renovation of the entire Shul.
The kehillah hopes to see the completion of this massive project in the coming months, enabling the tradition of Torah and tefillah that has found its home here for more than six decades to continue in a renewed, beautiful edifice.
