Israel to Remove Most Covid Restrictions by March 1st

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennet has met with health officials to discuss removing almost all covid restrictions by March 1.
“This wave is breaking,” Bennett said at the start of the meeting according to the statement. “We are seeing a decline in the number of severely ill.
Bennet urged that Israel prepare to relax restrictions soon. The Green Pass system, which requires Israelis to show proof of vaccination before entering public places will not be required after March 1st.
Ministers are set to meet again later on Thursday for further discussions on easing restrictions, including those on arrivals from abroad.
