In Tribute: Mrs. Mindy Raizel Gluck

By Idy Perl
Hundreds gathered yesterday at the Rachmistrivke shul in Boro Park to pay their final respects to Mindy Raizel Gluck a”h, a remarkable woman, wife, and mother who was niftar at just 48 years old.
Born in Brooklyn to Reb and Rebbetzin Chaim Mordechai and Gittie Katz, currently the Slavita Rav in Far Rockaway, Mindy was known for her infectious smile, kindness, and generosity, and drew people to her with her intelligence, wit, and compassion. Mindy was always among the first to arrive at shul, where she would pour her heart out in tefillah for her family and klal yisroel.
Mindy is survived by her husband, Reb Yisroel Dovid Gluck, originally from London, and their five beautiful children. As a devoted mother Mindy’s first priority was her children’s chinuch, and she instilled in them an unwavering emunah, kindness, tznius, and gratitude.
In her final months, Mindy faced a devastating diagnosis with courage, and even in the darkest moments remained unbroken. She never complained and always focused on the good and constantly expressed her gratitude to Hashem.
At the levaya Rabbi Dovid Katz, Mindy's oldest brother, delivered a heartfelt eulogy and spoke of Mindy's unwavering emunah and bitachon, her optimism, and her profound gratitude for every blessing.
Her unshakeable emunah and resilience inspired those around her and has left an everlasting impact on those who knew her.
Yehi zichra Baruch.
