Illegal Fireworks Result in Car Fire

After illegal fireworks were set off this evening on 10th Avenue and 41st Street, a car in the vicinity exploded and was rapidly engulfed in flames. 

FDNY was able to put out the flames, but not before the charred vehicle was damaged beyond repair. 

Fortunately, no one was injured in the resulting explosion and resulting fiery inferno.
