Hochul Gets Blasted Over Tolls and Pipeline Dispute

Tensions are rising as United States Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy sharply criticized Governor Kathy Hochul. Duffy called out Hochul for refusing to stop the congestion pricing program and refusal to approve two vital pipelines that could potentially lower fuel costs by 50%. He said the high tolls unfairly charge people to use roads their federal taxes already paid for, calling it a slap in the face to hardworking Americans.
The federal government has granted New York a 30-day extension to address these concerns or they will cut funding for New York. As the deadline approaches both state and federal authorities stand firm on their positions.
