History: Admor of Viznitz Monsey to Spend Shabbos in Boro Park

As is well-known, following the passing of the Rebbe of Viznitz-Monsey, all of his sons have been crowned as Rebbeim. His son Rebbe Yisroel Hager, shlit”a, who had served alongside his father as the Rov of the Viznitzer Khal Toras Chaim, succeeded him in Monsey.  

In honor of the Shabbos Sheva Brochos for his grandson Baruch, the son of his son Rav Chaim Meir, he will spend Shabbos in Boro Park for the first time as Rebbe.

The kallah is the daughter of Rav Mordechai Twersky, who is the son of the Chernobyler Rebbe of Boro Park, and the son in law of his uncle, the Chernobyler Rebbe of Bnei Brak.

Although Boro Park is somewhat less crowded during the summer Shabbosim—with people away in the country—a sizable crowd is still expected to join in the joy and elevation in the glow of the tzaddikim.
